FAQ
Still have questions?
What is WisePaul?
An online platform for running football prediction leagues: everyone makes their predictions and the platform works out the points and the table automatically.
Is there any betting or money involved?
No. WisePaul is a predictions and standings platform: it takes no bets and handles no money or prizes between participants.
Which competitions can I use?
Major international tournaments, European club competitions and the top national leagues, including Portugal and Brazil.
How do people join?
With the league’s invite code. Each person creates an account, enters the code and starts predicting.
Who enters the results?
Nobody has to: results are synced automatically from a sports data provider and points are recalculated. If needed, our team corrects a result by hand.
Can I change the scoring rules?
Yes. The organiser sets the points for the right outcome, the exact-score bonus, the points for picking the champion, and whether predictions lock match by match or on a single deadline. Points are recalculated automatically.
Do I need to install anything?
No. It works in the browser, on a computer, tablet or phone.
How much does it cost?
There’s a free plan for up to 3 participants. For bigger groups, €15 for up to 30 participants and €30 for up to 100, per league and for the whole competition, VAT included.
